How It Works

You don't miss a child because you don't care. You miss them because seeing isn't the same as understanding.

It might be the quiet child nobody worries about. The child who always says they're “fine”. The loud child who's in trouble again. The high achiever holding it all together. Or the “difficult” child who keeps getting sanctioned, but nobody has asked why.

This self-check shows how well your school sees every child, and whether your systems help staff respond when they do. It is built on the four stages of The Child We Miss™ framework, See, Understand, Respond and Sustain, and it works whether or not you have a school counsellor.
